"your were everywhere at the same time..."

As a published writer and journalist Angelica traveled half the world and lived in France, Portugal and New Mexico before she settled in Los  Angeles  eleven years ago. Savvy in Interior Design and Adobe restoration she had built and managed her organic restaurant and art gallery “Avangelis” and later added “Mensana”, a clinic for natural treatments”. Before she successfully sold her businesses she coordinated many art openings, galas and performances and was interviewed for radio and TV about her eco-friendly ideas.

With several years of experience in green design and construction, restaurant business and event production, with a multi-cultural  background and the ability to speak four languages, which often comes in handy, she started event design and wedding planning in Los Angeles in 2002. She learned the finesse of the trade from The American Academy of Wedding Professionals and from experienced and creative colleagues like Sally Steele. On the road to perfection nothing helps more than the practice of coordinating events of all shapes, themes and sizes. Every party, wedding or conference presents new challenges and creativity grows on the way. As most banquet menus of the over 200 events she coordinated between 2002 and 2005 had been organic and from local farmers, it was a natural next step to launch
Green Weddings &Events, the first green wedding planning business of the US. After the LA Times picked up on the trend and interviewed her in June 2005, a door to many beautiful and eco-conscious weddings was opened. The LA Times helped creating awareness with their trend setting article on eco-friendly weddings, one of the first in the news.
